Research Initiatives


SAHA endeavors to establish an Institution of Excellence, with International Standards in imparting quality education. We focus on contributing to the societal development through the Research and developmental Initiatives of the Institution, in diverse fields of specialisations.

SAHA proposes to undertake research projects/studies and coordinate all such initiatives by the students and Institutions in the United States who are desirous to pursue research in India. SAHA would coordinate and extend all the possible support for such initiatives.


The Research and Development Initiatives by Mahatma Gandhi Vishva Bharati (the proposed University) shall be as follows:

  • Research Projects taken up by the Expert Faculty – as consultation projects
  • Research Projects of Government of India and/or any other National and International Agencies
  • Research focused upon the Industrial Needs
  • Sai RAM Trust (a Non profit in India - active associate of SAHA) took up a Research Survey funded by Government of Gujarat, to identify ‘the HR needs and expectations of Biotechnology Industries in Gujarat’. The research project is nearing successful completion.
  • Research in contemporary fields of Academic Importance – to be taken up by the Students of the Post Graduation and Doctoral programmes.
  • Incubators to facilitate Research for the Development of students as prospective Faculty members and Experts to contribute to the needs of the Institution and the Society.
  • Various Schools of Specialisation would strive to contribute to the research objectives of the Institution.
  • Sai RAM Trust (Our Indian coordinating Institution) took up a research consultancy work from the State Government of Gujarat, India, to conduct a survey on HR Needs and Expectations of the Biotech Industries in Gujarat.
